Sara MacCulloch is an artist from Nova Scotia who paints what she sees, fast and immediate. I think she’s masterful with a quick brushstroke that defines much more than is obvious. I love the juicy palette that she uses. There’s a sensuality of paint and the joy of using it and the joy of being able to define reality abstractly and specifically just with paint and color. I think her work is wonderful.
