These constructions by Conny Goelz-Schmitt are made out of old book covers, and she has a major collection of them. She picks covers with colors that are extremely interesting when she puts them together.
They all have a patina of age and use, and you get the sense that all the elements of the constructions have been worn and used and looked at. But Conny transforms them into something entirely different, geometric, three-dimensional, and interesting.
